MBABANE AFRICA EVANGELICAL CHURCH FAMILY DAY
The Swaziland National Sports and Recreation Council was there to support the first ever Church Family Day by the Mbabane Africa Evangelical Church at Prince of Wales this past Saturday on the 10th of March 2018.
The day began with a march from the church premises via Msunduza and through Allister Miller street to the Prince of Wales Stadium. The march was led by the lively and energetic Police band and some drum majorettes. Upon arrival at the arena, all was set with various sporting and entertainment events that included a kiddies corner which featured face painting, jumping castle and kids athletics.
Other events that took place included aerobics, tug of war and short distance running from youngsters and up to the elderly. It is safe to say that the event was successful as it brought a huge crowd of plus or minus 600 people who were members of the Mbabane AEC and their families. To end the day on a pleasant note, the crowd was treated to live music serenaded by gospel artist Phatwakahle.
